
Grace Fitzpatrick - Chairperson
Grace is an Industry Engagement Practitioner with extensive expertise in Marketing, Retail, Event and Conference Management, Governance, Community and Industry Engagement in both the private and public sector. Since taking on the role of Chairperson in 2009, Grace and the Management committee have overseen the successful establishment of Prospect’s first community garden and the rejuvenation of the group. PLEG Inc. encourages progressive environmental outcomes.

- Undertaking a name change and updating PLEG's constitution.
- Building significant connections with other Environment and Community groups.
- Developing and establishing partnerships with relevant government bodies.
- Growing our membership and increasing our community profile.
- Providing feedback and writing submissions on issues of environmental importance.
- Continuing to attend, organise and facilitate community event that focus on our core values of ‘Local Energy, Food, Recycling and Transport’.

Bronte Cerny Secretary
Bronte is a retired University Campus Library Coordinator and Academic Librarian.
Bronte is passionate about achieving and maintaining a sustainable environment that future generations are able to enjoy. Bronte enjoys gardening particularly her vegetable and herb garden, raising plants from seeds and cuttings, creating compost for the garden and using captured rain water in the garden and home.

Kristina Barnett - Committee Member
Kristina has expertise in Project and Event Management including national Conferences; Grant writing; Community Sector Engagement and Consultation; Governance and Compliance in the community sector; extensive experience and, as an Elected Member of City of Prospect for over 27 years- knowledge of Local Government processes, procedures and legislation.
Kristina is passionate about embracing environmental sustainability and involvement with various local environment initiatives including City of Prospect first Environment Plan, Braund Road Bike Boulevard Stakeholder Group, Prospect Energy Friends Project (home energy auditing), community environment forums, Garage Sale events, Prospect Community Garden, Prospect Local Environment Group and Prospect Eco Market. Kristina has recently retired and looks forward to devoting more time to local environment projects.

Erina Newnham -Committee Member

Erina has worked as an Academic Librarian in Adelaide and London, and subsequently in online textbook sales.
Erina has a keen interest in plant propagation and water wise gardening, sustainable energy, and Eco markets;and is also committed to the PLEG goals of reducing waste, reusing and recycling wherever possible.

Sandy Muir - Committee Member
Sandy is concerned about environmental sustainability and promotes re purposing, reusing and up-cycling through community events such as environment forums, Giant Garage Sale and Prospect Eco Markets. Sandy likes to get her grandchildren involved by encouraging them to recycle, conserve water, donate unwanted toys and books and grow their own herbs and vegetables. |
